I am very grateful to Mr Chia for being a part of my A level journey and ultimately helping me to clinch an A for my H2 Math A levels (from a S in MCTs)! His concise notes and methodical approach to math was very effective in allowing me remember the formulas and the ways to tackle different types of problem.
Mr Chia is an excellent teacher that is very patient and caring. He is able to break down complex problems and experienced in spotting commonly asked exam questions. His encouraging attitude inspired me to keep working hard and improving my math grades from a C to an A in A levels!
I was struggling with my school’s fast-paced lessons. Thanks to Mr Chia’s teaching, he simplified concepts such that I understood them and gave practice questions that were for my skill level. Learning Mathematics started becoming a joy rather than a chore and I really appreciate Mr Chia for his patience.

Mr Chia has played a very integral role in my A’level journey ever since the start of my JC life. His patience and thorough methods helped me to adapt to the challenging topics. He made me look forward to his lessons weekly and helped me to see the joy in learning math.
I was personally struggling with U grades even after my prelims and Mr Chia’s willingness to assist and guide me instilled the confidence in myself and I improved to a B. Mr Chia looks out for each student not only academically but also emotionally.
Mr Chia was very helpful and gave us a lot of practices. He would patiently answer all our queries and was very forthcoming when we needed help. He also gave us additional tips and tricks to check our answers and use the calculator to efficiently utilise our time during the examination.
I really appreciate how you identified each of our weak spots in Math and tailored your lessons to suit our different needs. Your lesson resources were extremely useful and I felt very comfortable clarifying all my doubts with you to close the gaps in my conceptual understanding.
Mr Chia helped me understand the many complicated concepts in H2 Math with clear explanations and some funny math memes. He leads us through the difficult math problems, showing us methods and tricks to solve them. He is a very caring teacher who is also very responsive to our questions outside of lesson timings!
Mathematics has always been my strong subject but ever since entering JC, I have been struggling with it. Through the endless drilling of A level and prelim questions, I was able to gain a better understanding of the requirements of the A level examinations.
Initially I didn’t have any confidence in taking chemistry and everything seemed so dark and hopeless. Thanks to Mr Low, chemistry became more interesting. I managed to progress from barely passing my chemistry in J1 to actually getting a B during A Levels.
Mr Low is an extremely affable teacher who dedicates himself to his students. Akin to a humanised Google for Chemistry, he answers my every query — even at odd hours during the exam period. Equipped with humour and care, his Chemistry lessons are extremely enjoyable.
One of the main reasons I survived A-Level H2 Chemistry was due to Mr Low’s support! Whenever I felt stuck or confused about a concept, I could WhatsApp him to seek clarification. The easy-to-digest notes were invaluable study aids.
Mr Low always went the extra mile to reply to us even during late nights and prepared his materials according to our exam schedule. Every revision was thoroughly done and this helped me to easily identify the way to phrase my answers.
Mr Low is able to train us into critical thinking students that know how to apply chemistry concepts swiftly and accurately. I used to be intimidated by higher-order questions like elucidation but after ample practice, I became familiar with the style of questions.
When I joined your lesson, I was a student constantly getting Us. I only started to understand the subject much better after I attended your class. I’m really thankful for the way you made the content workload so much more digestable for us.

You are honestly the funniest teacher I’ve ever met. Thanks for always making Biology lessons such a joy to go to. Even though you only taught us in JC2, you have certainly made an impression. We will miss you!
