I am a secondary school mathematics tuition teacher with over five years of experience working with both lower and upper secondary students. Over the years, I have helped many students achieve consistent grade improvements by strengthening their understanding of core concepts and examination techniques. My lessons are structured, engaging, and aligned closely with the school syllabus, ensuring students are well-prepared for tests and examinations.
I specialise in guiding weaker students who may lack confidence or struggle with foundational concepts. Through patient explanation and step-by-step guidance, I help students build clarity, confidence, and independence in problem-solving. My teaching style is friendly yet academic, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes.
In addition to mathematics, I also teach chess, which plays an important role in my approach to learning. Chess develops logical thinking, strategic planning, and focus—skills that directly support mathematical reasoning. By incorporating these thinking habits into my lessons, I aim not only to improve grades but also to help students develop strong analytical skills that benefit them beyond the classroom.
