The JC2 Headstart Programme is a six-week preparation course run by Higher Nucleus Learning Studio (HNLS) for current JC1 students moving into JC2, covering H2 Economics, H2 Mathematics, H2 Chemistry, H2 Biology, H2 Physics and General Paper at HNLS's Bishan and Bukit Timah centres, with live Zoom access for every class. It runs from October to mid-November 2026. JC1 students who want to revise JC1 content instead can join the Academic Mastery Programme (AMP), HNLS's JC1 revision programme, from 20 November to 7 December 2026.
If promos showed gaps in your JC1 foundations, start with the Academic Mastery Programme (AMP) instead: it goes back over JC1 topics before JC2 begins.
A-Level H2 subjects are examined at the end of JC2 on content from both years, so JC2 topics build directly on what was covered in JC1. Students who start JC2 with secure JC1 foundations spend less time catching up.
Six weeks, getting ahead on JC2 content across the subjects a student is taking. Open to all JC1 students moving into JC2.

All six HNLS subjects are covered by HNLS's regular subject tutors – the same tutors who teach these subjects during the school term.
